Hot off of a successful Youth Build Day collaboration with the makers of the Qimo distribution for kids, the Ubuntu Florida LoCo team will be meeting once again, to discuss world domination. Or Ubuntu. Or both.

There are many events coming up in September and October. Ubuntu Developer Week, Atlanta Linux Fest, Florida Linux Show, and the Ubuntu Global Jam, just to name a few. With all of the energy of a Florida monorail, the Ubuntu Florida Local Community team will continue its mission to unite the 6 or 7 corners of Florida under the Linux and Open Source banners next week.

We’ll be leaving the station (#ubuntu-us-fl on Freenode) at 8pm on Tuesday, July 21.

The first stop: “Qimo Build Day Planning”, then its a short trip to “Ubuntu Global Jam”
